It is basically like an internet garage sale. People put up pieces that they don't need anymore (sometimes it is practically brand new!) and you can peruse the list of sellers by keyword searching for the style of furniture you are looking for. Check you news paper or phone book for local outlet stores...or check with large retail stores to see if they have an outlet store in town. Sometimes you can get furniture that has a little scratch or tear on it for hundreds less than a new piece.
