It depends on where you live and how much money ( cash ) you have to spend..or are you going to charge it???
Check you news paper or phone book for local outlet stores…or check with large retail stores to see if they have an outlet store in town. Sometimes you can get furniture that has a little scratch or tear on it for hundreds less than a new piece.
ikea
everything is good at ikea
they have a huge variety of furniture
and their have a good price range
they have alot of different styles for everthing
lamps, beds, chairs, desk, tables, chairs, sofas, etc
Check out second hand stores and Salvation Army, believe it or not some people change their decor every three to five years and some of the furniture is nice, just rent a rug doctor and use the upholstery attachment on the furniture..also check yard sales, auctions etc….sometimes you can find coffee tables and end tables and turn them from trash to treasure with a little sanding and paint or by sanding and staining and several coats of poly….it is fun to go searching, never know what you will find…
I would try craigslist.org If you live in a big city it is a great place to find a great variety of furniture. It is basically like an internet garage sale. People put up pieces that they don’t need anymore (sometimes it is practically brand new!) and you can peruse the list of sellers by keyword searching for the style of furniture you are looking for.
