Autumn asked: i really love interior design & visual arts & photography, but i just don’t want to settle in one thing.
i think i would really love the environvent of working for a magazine.
i would want to in the END be an art director or a creative director or the magazine, and go to the homes that are being featured in the magazine and over see the photoshoots etc.
should i major in interior design? photography? visual art for advertising?

If you want to be involved with the business/practical side of things as well as the creative and design side, there are a few schools out there that offer Bachelor of Science, or Arts Administration programs. Here are two I know of:
Minneapolis College of Art and Design – Bachelor of Science: Visualization
(I actually am in this program, and really like it. It’s all about making the most of your artistic skills, and learning about business, management, and production as well. You can really choose what direction you want to go in and almost make your own major, be it in the magazine world, in a museum, web-based design, or whatever else you can think of.)
