I have a person talking to me on the internet saying that she is an interior designer. Can any1 out there tell me some technical questions so that I can confirm that she is really one interior designer and not bluffing?

Hello there. For one thing, you can ask the person for a list of at least 10 of her most recent clients. Then you should meet her in a public place. Ask her to bring her complete portfolio… (of pictures) that is a fair representation of her work. The pictures should be prints… and not magazine pages ripped out. If you have her name and she tells you she is a legit business, you can call the Better Business Bureau in your city. Those are the best ways to not get scammed. And also…. if she asks for a deposit before the work is complete….. run the other way. Most reputable designers don’t need to ask for money up front. Hope that helps.
