I have been looking at several schools, and some offer a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and some a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. What is the difference?

The Bachelor of Fine Arts has a broader scope, with a strong emphasis on the humanities, theoretical and general knowledge in a recognized discipline, interdisciplinary field, or of a professional study.

The Bachelor of Science is more of a focused approach with a science base to include a balance of liberal arts, technological knowledge, math and computer oriented skills, and practical skills needed for a particular discipline within the field.

In short, you could say that Bachelor of Fine Arts focuses more on the Artistic side of design, while Bachelor of Science focuses more on the scientific or technological side I guess…
