I am looking for a website where i could plan out interior design for a home. That is see what colours go together, what furniture would look right for a certain size house.
Well I searched around and this is what I found that might help you out. Good Luck!

As does the website for Bo Concept, using their own furniture, of course. However, to my knowledge – and as an interior designer I have looked into this – there is no such site. The detail and information to create this is too complex for a standard website – we use programmes such as Vectorworks and Auto Cad to design spaces and they’re fairly technical.
However, for a very simple way to check the sizing and placement of furniture for a space, it’s a good idea to draw a simple scale outline of the room and cut out scale templates of the furniture you’re interested in using. You can then move these around the space to see which is the best layout and use of space. Very basic, but an effective way to plan the space. You can get a scale ruler from any good stationer.
As for the colours, most companies will provide you with free cuttings of fabrics that you are interested in. You can also buy sample pots of paints that you want to use. If you paint sections onto a large piece of card, you can lay the fabric against it to see which choices tone together well. There’s nothing like actually having the materials in front of you to help you make the right choice. Very stone age, I know, but it works well enough for me. Good luck!
not exactly free this one but B&Q sell a disc for 9.99 which lets you use your own pics of rooms in your house and decorate them in colours of your choice.
I have used it and it has saved me a fortune on matchpots.
