Can I sand my interior plastic of my truck to return to the original color?

I painted the interior plastic of my truck a while back using the proper method for painting plastic (although painting plastic usually ends up being a pain). Its chipped in a few places and I Would like to return to the original color. It seems reasonable that if i sand enough, itll go back the the origianl color and i can then smooth it out and gloss it. I’m just making sure this is actually possible to do?

    yes.
it will be exactly like before…
Make sure you prep it properly and it should turn out right.
You might want to call up your local car paints store and check what vinyl paint they recommend.
    I hope this helps mate.
Also make sure you do sand all of the paint off so when you do scratch a piece the matching color shows through
P.S keep a can reserved for normal wear and tear.
    Hope this helps mate
