Betterhomesandgardens.com has a great way to do a virtual decorator of room. You can choose the furniture color and paint chips to get an idea of what looks good with what. I play with it all the time and love it. You have to register on the site to have access, but it is well worth it.

I’m taking an interior design class at school and we used the program on the IKEA website. Depending on the rooms you want to plan, you can use the program to insert IKEA products into your custom designed room. There also are a few for kitchens and stuff on the HGTV website.
